Moody Homes are very proud to be celebrating over fifty-five years in the building industry. From small beginnings, the Company has grown and gone from strength to strength, earning its well deserved reputation in the market place for building new homes to very high standards.
Donald Moody started the Company in 1953, building his first house in Hornchurch, Essex. Donald Moody was awarded the OBE in 1985 for his services to the housing industry.
He served for over 25 years on the Council of the House Builders Federation and was their President in 1974. He was a Director and Chairman of the Finance Committee of the National House Building Council.
Mr Moody still becomes personally involved with each site that is acquired, giving a personal lead to his team on location and design. The Company find purchasers returning to them, to buy their second home.
